Disclaimer: * I am not a legal professional *, and laws for each of these documents vary by state. I am, however, a nurse with ER experience, and have worked first-hand with families and legal documents such as Power of Attorney (POA) and Living Wills. I have personal experience with how critical these documents can be to have at all in the first place, and for them to be updated regularly (such as with any major life changes) and for them to be completed properly in accordance with your state laws.
